We were referred to them by a friend who had recently closed on a home in Menlo Park and Yaeger Residential Brokerage helped them find the home off market for a great price. They were the only team that took the time to set up an in-person meeting to understand what our family was looking for in a new home. They walked us through the entire process of what we should consider when buying a new home as we were first time homeowners in the Bay Area.
Tim is a Bay Area native giving him some unique perspectives and also great connections wherever you may be looking. Kim is dynamic, friendly, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Ultimately, the most important thing that stood out to us is that they had our best interest in mind and guided us through the process as if they were doing it for themselves.
Since my wife and I have very busy lives, they did a fantastic job of refining down the list of houses we should consider every weekend that would fit our family and long-term vision. A HUGE added bonus is that Tim is both a general contractor and avid real estate developer so the advice he gave us on each particular home was invaluable!
It took us almost 9 months to find the perfect home and they were patient the entire way. We never felt any pressure to purchase a home that wasn’t best for our family. There were a few times we were close to making offers and Tim and Kim took late evening conference calls to review all of our options. They can mend to any style whether you are the type to make shotgun multiple offers on places or you are the type that is very selective.
In the end, one of the best parts is that we purchased a home in Palo Alto for close to $150,000 UNDER asking price. Yes, you didn’t misread that. Tim and Kim will negotiate on your behalf to get you the best value possible.
